Independent commercial research and market intelligence on Guyana

We help international companies evaluate opportunities in Guyana, understand market conditions and make informed market-entry decisions. Every engagement is scoped, quoted and agreed in writing before any work or payment.

Three ways to work with us

From a first view to a researched shortlist

Most clients start with a fit assessment. Deeper research is only proposed when the first conversation shows it would change a decision.

01 / Start here

Opportunity fit assessment

An initial review of your commercial objective, capabilities and where you may fit in Guyana.

What we need from you
What your business does, the sector you are considering and what you are trying to achieve. A few sentences is enough to start.
What you receive
  • A view on which sectors and opportunity types merit research, and which probably do not
  • The open questions that matter most for your decision
  • An honest recommendation on whether further research is worth paying for
What happens next
The initial conversation is free. If a written assessment would help, we scope and quote it first.

02 / Scoped project

Opportunity research

A defined research project on a sector, commercial opportunity or business objective.

Possible deliverables
  • Market context and sourced evidence on demand
  • The buyer landscape and how each buyer purchases
  • Competitors and incumbents
  • Opportunity categories and procurement considerations
  • Commercial constraints, risks and unknowns
  • Findings and recommended next steps
When it is worth it
When you are deciding whether to commit people, stock or capital, and the answer depends on facts that public statistics do not show.

03 / Scoped project

Partner and market-entry research

Research into local counterparties and possible commercial relationships.

Possible deliverables
  • A shortlist of organisations matched to agreed criteria
  • Publicly supportable information on each
  • The relevant commercial context
  • Questions that still need verification
  • Local enquiries to establish interest, where feasible and agreed
What it does not do
It does not guarantee an introduction, a meeting or a deal, and a shortlist is not a recommendation to contract.

Evidence and verification

What public evidence can establish, and what needs local verification

Public evidence establishes part of the picture. Questions about distributors, subcontractors and joint-venture partners are where it runs out fastest, and some can only be answered directly. Every finding we report says which kind it is, so you know how much weight it can bear.

Where feasible and agreed, findings are tested through local enquiries. If we, or anyone involved in your research, have an interest in an organisation or project we discuss with you, we tell you before you rely on our work.

Usually established from public sourcesUsually needs direct verification
Whether an organisation exists and what it says it doesWhether it can actually deliver at the scale you need
Contracts, projects and awards that have been announcedIts current workload, finances and reputation with buyers
Sector rules such as local-content listsHow those rules are applied to your case in practice
Who the main buyers and incumbents areWhether a buyer is open to a new supplier now

How an engagement works

  1. You describe your objective

Through the short form or by email. There is no obligation.

  2. We read it and reply personally

With a relevant observation or question, and an honest view on whether we can help. Where useful, we arrange a free initial conversation.

  3. We agree a scope in writing

The questions to answer, the deliverable, the timeline and the price, before any work or payment.

  4. We deliver sourced findings

Including what we could not establish, so you can see the limits of the evidence.

We do not publish a fixed price list, because the work depends on the question. You will always have a written quote before you commit.

What we do not do

  • We do not promise introductions, investment, contracts, licences or returns.
  • We do not give legal, tax, accounting or regulated investment advice; we will tell you when you need a professional.
  • We do not claim partners or projects are verified unless we have verified them for you, and we say how.
  • We are not an official agency and do not act for the Government of Guyana.

Not sure which service fits?

Start with the short form. Most engagements begin with a conversation, and many questions can be answered in that first reply. There is no obligation to buy anything.
